I usually come here for breakfast, and their cinnamon coffee is delicious. To me, it's just a regular Mexican diner, but they do serve full plates unlike some of the other "hipster" spots which still leave you hungry in the area. This is probably 1 of 4 places that serve full plate sizes in the area - Artists Village Resident

I came in to the restaurant because I like to try out restaurants with low ratings and give them the benefit of the doubt. I had the aguachiles and man they were amazing. I also had a carne asada wet burrito and it was as authentic as it gets. I am a wet burrito enthusiast and this one was amongst my top 3 hands down. The meat in the burrito was tender and juicy just as it should be, not overcooked like most places. I had a michelada, it's really hard to get a great tasting michelada but this one was pretty decent. I have yet to find a spot to go for just the micheladas.   The decorations are a little outdated but food and service was great. They had Karaoke when I was there and the server explained to me how they sometimes have live bands. I will definitely go back just to listen to a band since it makes the experience overall better. Some oysters on the menu would be nice too :)

Just walked out of this spot, horrible service, too much for too little. Only gave me 2 hand made tortillas. I got the birria plate suppose to be 10$ per the menu ended up being 12.99. My husband orded a michelada had too much Calmato, so he ordered another negra modelo beers were all hot.

One of the best authentic Mexican spots in downtown Santa Ana! Love coming here with friends & family for a good meal that always hits the spot!
